    expensive installation

 i got an underbody neon kit for my car. and tried to install it. i borrowed a hydraulic jack from a friend and his drill. i use my jack 2 but while doing this i noticed taht my friends hydr. jack didn't work and it was a pain in the ass to put the jack under the car. ( car is lowered with tein s). and i tried to drill some holes under the car without any luck. broke a lot of drill bits. after several attempts i gave up, cuz was kinda late and couldn't get under the car.
i went around and ask this one place how much they would charge to install the underbodykit..
he said.: I CAN DO IT FOR $130 AND IT'S GONA TAKE A WHILE CUZ UR CAR IS LOWERED AND Sh^%&. I WAS LIKE DAMMIT!!
is it really that expensive 2 install those neon?? i just don't have the right tools and equipment ...:superconf otherwise i would give it a try again. but they must be joking right...$130????damn
    :( what u guys think??

just go to home depot or somewhere alike and get some self taping screws, its alot easier than drilling holes

130 isnt too bad. Figure a shop charges 60-90 an hour for labor. So 130 would be about 2 hours labor. Not bad.

You got a kit right? Im assuming fiberglass? Get some clamps or something and fiberglass them in place.

Why dont you invest in a 2x4 piece of wood, run over the 2x4 which should give you two more inches to work with so you can fit the OEM jack under ur car...thats what I did and it worked for me.....Hahaha, sounds like a late night infomercial..."do this and it'll give you two more inches to work with, it worked for me"..

Youre not using the right tools then.
What kind of drill are you using, what kind of drill bits are you using?

wtf are you trying to drill through that you keep breaking bits? try keeping the drill straight...you can't bend a drill bit while drilling or it will break. also...make sure the drill is rotating the correct way. i can only assume that you're breaking bits because you're trying to manhandle the drill and if you have it rotating the wrong way, it will NOT put a hole in anything.
