For my 2 1/2 piping plus the muffler the price came out to $317. I am not sure if I was overcharged or not but the price seemed good for me, and it was my first time ever getting something installed along those lines. I am sure if you get a good shop they'll be able to work around the kit you have. Anyone have this kit that can help him with the situation?

I have a Magnaflow exhaust and it is great quality and the sound is wonderful, loud (although may be too loud for some) and very deep. Two of my friends have Borla exhausts on their cars (both Impreza's, one is 2.2L and other is a 2.5RS) and they sound great, but as slvr said, the Magnaflow is louder.

I have the borla Exhaust but i know that the Magnaflow sounds just as good or better, and its louder than the borla exhaust. I havnt heard any negatives about it so far. I kinda wish i went magna but o well, borla is nice. If you want to keep the cops away heh.

so how much is it to get it installed, and does it matter if u have the vuteq type-a kit. Because i've seen some of the corollas they've had to cut the kit to make it peek through the rear.

i just got my exhaust installed and ready to go. It cost about 60 dollars for everything. And since i figured that my kit would get in the way they had to cut some of the tip and add an extra down pipe so that it would come out.. All in all everything is great.

Glad to hear that bro, as long as everything works great and you're satisfied, that's all that matters. Post pics?

the only thing that i dont like about the magnaflow is the slip joint and clamp that hold it to the original exhaust. your best bet would be to have it welded or even better have flanges welded to your stock pipe and the magnaflow resonator. other than that id have to say buying th magnaflow exhaust is one of the best thinks ive gotten for me car.

Do any of you guys know if a single wall or double walled muffler is louder or if that even makes a difference?
