    Exhaust question

I intend to run a turbo in my 03 corolla as soon as the weather breaks for the summer here in winter New York. My question is this. I have a friend that has a TIG welder and works at a body shop. Do I have him make me a custom 3'' pipe all the way back and put a universal muffler on it. Or is there a cat back that can handle turbos out for the corolla. I know about the magnaflow and the therma R&D but they both have 2.5'' piping. i think :? Any advice. Plus I need think I am interested in a ECU Upgrade do they make one. I think I have to piggy back the system. I just have so many question and since I don't drive a civic no one around me has any answers. thanks

2.5" is usually big enough for most turbos (unless you plan on running some really high boost). So the Magnaflow catback should cover your needs and it fits all your stock mounts reducing the amount of work getting it in.

As for piggy back ECU's. Unichip gets mentioned a lot. I know a Matrix owner who is sending his stock ECU to get jetted for his setup. There are others as well. Just read some of the older posts and you will find some tidbits there.

i have the magnaflow and i am planning on using it for my turbo set up in the summer... 2.25 piping should be more than enough with a low boost turbo.
