    exhaust question

I have a 2004 ce. yesterday i went to the toyota dealership to drive a corolla XRS. to get to it out they had to move a corolla S with TRD exhaust. I really like the way the exhaust sounded and now i am wondering what exhaust will give the most power for my car. Any suggestions? i know that DC sports is coming out with a cat-back for my car but i dunno when it will be out.

p.s. i wasnt impressed with the corolla XRS, the vvt-i kicks in so late on those 2zz's. (like around 6000 rpms)

DC Sports is making a cat-back? Didn't know that. They're also supposed to be making an exhaust header, among other things. As far as I know, they're still not available.

Magnaflow makes a true cat-back. Borla makes a kinda cat-back, and TRD makes an axle-back exhaust for the 03/04.

yea, DC Sports is going to produce their new single canister system for the 2003-2004 corolla. http://www.dcsports.com/appguide.html <scroll down to stainless steel exhaust systems and look for Corolla. No news on a release date that i am aware of.

if you want something now, go with the magnaflow. But if you think that you can wait, go with the DC. IMO, i would go with full exhaust. JP Performance header & Midpipe, and then you would need an axle back(TRD, THERMAL R&D.......) This is what im doing. All I need is the jp midpipe. Check them out at www.jpperformancellc.com
