Sweet! From those pictures it looks like the gauges in the XRS are the exact same ones as the TSport.

...I wish the T-Sport was available over here, I would have certainly considered purchasing one.

why can't toyota's US division bring a hatchback rolla to the states? would it kill them? i mean, i love the fact they're making the xrs, but why can't we get a little lightweight hatch?

They have done well with the exisiting models and probably don't want to hurt their numbers on the sales of alternative models on their existing models. Look at scion for example, with the introduction of the xA, xB, and soon to be tC, they are building a niche. Then again I'm no marketing expert either...just tack that on to my I'm no engine expert either. Just my two cents.

America gets the shaft when it comes to automobiles. Why cant we get a 3 door hatch over here, i love those things so much. They look much more sporty, and just have a stronger apperance then our rollas, not so weak and girly looking. We got the matrix, but its not that great, its all tall just like our corolla, wtf is up with making the cars so tall, it makes them look so dumb and girly. Oh well nothin i can do except move to a 'cool car country' i gues... Im kinda likein New Zealand, looks like they got some bad ass cars over there, specially WRX's, and they even get all the STI's.

speaking of New Zealand, i lived there for like 3 years
and the Altezza (IS300) in there costs only like less than $20000US?
its only the price of a corolla in the States man...
a great place to get / mod cars... just my 2 cents
