    Engine Replacement question

I have a 2001 Corolla that i picked up cheap needing an engine. Anyway i wanted to know if this engine comes out from the top or do i have to drop it from the bottom.

I hope this isn't a "stupid" question, i'm new to these cars and i have to determine where i am gonna be doing this work. Thanks!!

You will need to drop it from the bottom. Idk if your familiar with Haynes manuals but they will tell you everything you need to know about the car. You can pick them up at most auto shops like auto zone or advance auto etc..

BTW welcome to the forums :)

you will have the pleasure of removing the front suspension most of the way if you take it out the bottom. I would think top is easier but not many jacks can go that high
