Why isnt there a section with dynos like on newcelica..???

you know stock dynos intake dynos turbo dynos etc...

and if you can afford a turbo you can afford $65 for 3 pulls at a dyno!

how many pple on here have run their car on a dyno, let alone, this isnt newcelica....

I guess they can always add a section, but it does require more time and work. And it is a free site, so whenever the get to it I guess.

This thread is worthless without dyno pics.

Thanks bladder...................I have had a bunch of engine work done. I wish could have done one. I have 95 hp to the wheels right now but I am set up for turbo now. 8.8 comp sleaved and punched out new rods ,crank,valves ,valve springs,mod oil pump and port and polish the head. It sucks that mine is an auto.

im going to be dynoing mine during the summer to see how much power it makes stock, and to see how much more power the 4agze will have given me...

Its not a screw up. Its ft/lb not lb/ft. Divide the ft/lb by the ratio and you get lb/ft.

right after my swap in the ae92...... however, next day found out the cap/rotor were melted, later on i removed the MSD ignition (and it pulled better/ran better)..... i'll be milling the head .15", adding bigport cams, 20V ST itb's (and 290cc injectors).... i'll dyno again after that (and somewhere other than Intec... cause their readings are low).... but for those that can't see very well, 109.6whp

but after all of that, my aw11 still has quite a bit more power than the corolla

Heres my dyno but I still need a new fuel pump... or well I need to install it really and Need to change rev limiter to 7K cuz Im sure there is still pwoer to be made and itll help with shifting to stay spooled

obviously with the low torque numbers down low, it's not supercharged...... probably not on the bottle, either..... so that really only leaves one other option, because there's no way a 1zz is making that power n/a.....

Its a custom made kit by me.. I learned how to weld (ive got the fucked up clthes and 1 lbs of metal dust in my lungs to prove it) and built the shit myself... altho it took a while..

Its a 2000 corolla ce and if the clutch is good its fun to drive.. right now the clutch went out on me so I cant even reach boost... its soo sad LoL

Any chance you could hook me up with a parts manifest you used for your turbo minus the custom manifold you made and pipeing. I want to do a custom turbo kit but I need a list of parts to have on hand before I start. I have the 2001 Corolla with VVT-i.

you probably won't need a new fuel pump.... toyota is notorious for putting larger than necessary fuel pumps in their cars.....

my ae92 sr5 (originally sr5) has the stock fuel pump running a smallport 4age (170cc to 250cc injectors)

my aw11 (originally 4age) has a stock fuel pump as well, running a smallport 4agze (210cc to 365cc injectors).....

both run rich

on top of that, 3sgterolla over on CC had his stock 4afe fuel pump running a turbo 5s-gte for a while w/o issues....

that all being said, i have a spare supercharged mr2 fuel pump in the garage, and 3sgterolla went to a walbro fuel pump

here is what you should at least consider for low boost on stock internals:

turbo (easier to setup if you get one that is internally gated)
piping
intercooler
larger injectors and some sort of controller
downpipe that bolts to the turbo
oil lines.... would be easier if you use a Hayden oil filter relocation kit

might also be a good idea to use an aftermarket adjustable (rising rate) fuel pressure regulator, boost (vacuum) gauge, egt gauge..... an a/f ratio gauge is pretty much useless, however.... possibly useful if you get a split second a/f meter or go with a wideband setup.....

that's the basics, of course

So what do you run in the quarter? I think of 200hp as the magic number for a Corolla, rsince these cars ae so light.
