    eManage without turbo?

Has anyone installed and used an eManage without a turbo and experienced any gains? I have a problem in that I installed an Alpha Werks full cat back exhaust system and since I did this my car is running real rich and burning oil and it grubles like a rally car and it backfires and shoots flames. Some people were telling me this is because the ECU can't handle the extra exhaust flow and is making retarded calculations for fuel, etc. Would the eManage help me work this out? I'm not going to go forced induction for a while but if the eManage will help me out now I'll get it out of the way.

Typically you're not going to notice any gains on a near stock car such as yours.

As for that problem, there's obviously something else seriously wrong going on. You should have it checked out.

i think vamp got like 7 whp or 14 whp from it when he was non turbo. but did u remove the cat and put the exhaust on as it came? the exhaust is made for pre-cat use...so that could be your problem if they cut the cat off and installed it the way it came, cuz technically u should cut that part of the system off and install it after the cat.

The exhaust was a full cat back. all the way from the down pipe out the back. It has a CAT on it but I think its a high flow dummy because it throws an engine light saying that CAT is bad :) But its without a doubt running rich.

help me understand you do not have a cat right now and if you do its a dummy. right now i am running in open header format, with two mufflers actually and i have yet to get a CEL.

if its throws out a crap load of smoke or is running rich you will notice the engine bog down in a way. my computer continually resets itsself so i get whatever gains i can get. once it gets where i want it or its running correctly i leave it the way it is.

I see IS300 under you name now? Did you ditch the rolla for an IS? If so how do you like it? I've got a buddy getting ready to sell his IS300 to get the upcomming IS350 and if its any good I may have to jump on it.

Does anyone here tried the camcon? it control vvti and a/f ratio. I have enough $$ to buy one but no $$ to go dyno tune. :(
