    electronic power steering

    hey guys just wanted to know how u guys with 10th gen rollas feel about this electronic power steering.i dont know if i like it.kinda wish there was a way around it .i feel like the steering isnt as precise as it could be.maybe i am wrong and maybe i just need to do some suspension work. but to it just feels sloppy.let me know what u think-josh

    I find it convenient because it feels so easy to turn. The corolla was meant for a commuter car so efficiency was in mind I would say. Taking load off the engine by using an electric motor probably helps some mpg. Also, since it does feel lighter to turn, less stress for the driver...

    The ae82 on the other hand takes 100% more effort to turn the steering wheel as compared to the 10th gen. Is there such a thing as "steering fluid flush?" I might need one...

    On another note, I'd rather have the old cable throttle system over the newer drive by wire system. The lag kills me.
