not much you can do with toyota ecu's. you can flash it and tweak a few things but to gain performance? i have yet to see anyone do anything including myself. lol. i'm sure there are aftermaket stuff for that car though.

Since you got a 03, you can get the piggyback camcon. You can adjust the AF and tune the vvti. I want to get one, the until itself is not expensive (around $300), but you need to dyno tune it which is really expensive in where I live (Vancouver BC)
Ppl gain around 8hp in celice GT just the camcon alone.

As for header I'll let SOMEONE to answer it for you :D :D :D

You'd hit the fuel cut and then blow your valvetrain.

Man, just make it simple. You're thinking of complicated hp increasing methods. Simple bolt ons will gain you power. Header, CAI, Exhaust, underdrive pulleys, grounding kit.

grounding kit will only give you better responsiveness, not HP. unless you get a voltage regulator. then you may get 1-2 hp. :p

Be careful about underdrive pulleys, tho. Not much HP increase, and they normally cause more wear on the engine.

You can get headers on ebay, or bore out the headers, custom exhaust w/ 2.25 mandal bend, hyper grounding kit, and a Cold Air Intake will increase your proformance. A 5 speed tranny w/ a light weight flywheel and a stage 3 clutchmaster will help also. Check out "Dr. Tweak's Work" thread for pic and information. My 01 is running real nice now and I can't wait for my custom turbo and suspension system in April.

You can get a G-tech if you don't have dyno in in your area. I'm saving $$ to get one and then will buy the camcon to tune the vvti myself. :)
