Ebay intake for 98 Corolla

I'm interested in a short-length, generic air intake that can be found on E-bay for my 98 Corolla. However, I don't know exactly how long the pipe is. I was hoping that someone here has such an intake installed, so that I can judge its length, especially how it fits under the hood. I plan to relocate the battery, so this pipe would go there instead.

Can somebody post a picture of such an intake system? Also, is it possible to buy the pipe by itself, since I already have a filter element? Thanks.
