??? I'm tempted but I doubt it would work. I have some dents that are on the door where its not then sheet metal like that which can pop right back.

Similar techniques will only work if the dent is fresh - given enough time, the metal will take a "set", so to speak, and be more difficult to pop up. Also will not work for dents have a sharp creases or groove in the metal (metal deformation) - only for simple dents over a relative large area.

They do make something called a Dent Wizard - basically a pad that gets attached to the middle of the dent with some epoxy, a bar than spans the damaged area, a "puller" that is attached to the pad and levers the dent out. Once you pulled the dent, you cut the pad off, clean up the residue and are good to go. Usually doesn't even need a repainting, because you didn't cause any damage. But same deal - doesn't work where there is significant metal deformation - just have to take it to body shop.
