    every friend I have that has a TSI or an Eclipse (5 so far) has nothing but problems with em... may the force be with you bro. on the brighter side, ive also had to be the one to fix a good chunk of the problems so I might have info for ya when/if it does break... hehe

    DSM = TRASH.... experienced it myself if u guys recall that I had a 91 tsi. I mean car ran awesome but too many problems with that thing... like V said man may the power be with u lol

    either way the cars being sold at next to nothing by an old couple (orig. owners) and looks extremely well taken care of, so if i end up gettin it cud atleast make some change, reselling

    well the good turn out is that old people own it so they're not into street racing and shit so at least u know it might've been well taken care of.... what yr is it? Mileage? and is it AWD or FWD?....what's true though is that the car will give u much loads of crap in the long run that's for sure man.

    Another good thing is a 1g and not a 2g... the 2g motor SUCK!!!! plus they have lots of electrical problems and we have to thank Chrysler for it lol... at least a 1g motor will last u a little more longer than a 2g.

    D, 1 & 2G's both sucked... mainly because... dun dun dun dunnnnnnn! They're both DSM motor's... DSM made the shittiest motors on the planet. torqued hard and they run good when they run good, but 95% of the time they fuck up and run like crap.
