ok....I know that the grey wire is supposed to go to the thottle possition sensor, but what is the pin-out for the wire on the e-manage side? I have no grey wire .

you have no grey wire? that's odd. I would look on mine and tell you, but my car is going into the shop tonight to get the turbo manifold fitted.

yea.....turns out that I actually have a myriad of them ....[3], one is the MAP sensor...one is the ignition somthing ....i'll have to ge the exact.. and the other is ignition 2 I think...1310 is the number.. I am confident in my e-manage wiring, and I know that I was throwing a CEL before the e-manage instal...I guess I had some grand illusion that an untuned e-manage would magically make my CEL's dissapear

Dude that's WAY odd... the wiring stuff in my manual is EXACTLY how mine is setup - you did make sure that the settings for the jumpers and such were all correct? Also there could be something that is done when the software tool is hooked up and the eManage is programmed... *shrug* You got the tool?

nah I don't have the too1 yet...I recon I'll get it...man I wired it up correctly, but like I said before, I had some CEL issues before emanage, I don't know why I am compaining about it....like one of the things was my car was bucking....not badly...bucking isn't the right word, but it was......*sigh* bucking when it was in park, like it had a sticky valve or something like that...my exhaust was popping....not backfiring ....popping...I have over 100k on it...so I need to replace the plugs and wires, Vortex....I wasn't trying to say your manual was wrong...just want to make that clear....I know that my e-manage is hooked up right....it's just some crap that needs to be taken care off on my engine side...but one odd thing about the e-manage is that sometimes i'll get a red light....but it isn't blinging any codes while the car is on.....it just flickers...no certain pattern, just flickers....the oddest thing...then I check the codes.....then I forget them before I can get inside. sux...but I do think that one is my MAP sensor...which would coincide with the CEL that I have been getting...I don't know...I need to get all the CEL's taken care of before it is boosted though...that is for sure....I don't know though....I had been thinking about selling my e-manage, and getting a SAFCII and vortec FMU for fuel setup and calling it a day....or just selling my turbo, manifold, and e-manage as a non intercooled kit, I just got the turbo rebuilt

I don't know dude. I was all gung-ho about it, now it's like I can get the friggin project done. I was not thinking that it would take this long. Plus, there was un unexpected financial shift. Turns out that my fiances' dog was 1k instead of 500, so that takes a toll on my project, beings that--that was going to be my intercooler, piping, BOV, and oil pan, which would have finished the project. A while ago I got an offer of 1900 for full air suspension, but I don't think that I am going to get that or not, I am leaning towards not. I don't know how much longer, however, I can keep on sinking money into a seemingless bottomless pit. I am at a crossroads right now as far as that goes, I don't know if I want to keep on with this project, or stop, sell everything, return to stock, and get an ae86

dude... hang onto yur shit... im headin down to the HIN and Nopi shows in August/September - I can prolly help ya troubleshoot a shitload of that stuff and get yur stuff runnin right...

Didn't know ya had CEL issues before however...

If you did and it was MAP related, could have a bad MAP sensor... I'll send you a spare stock one of mine to try out and see if thats the issue if you need man. If it works, I'll sell it to ya for 1/3 of what one costs from a dealership, lol...

hehehe....I went to get my codes read , and the guy said that I am having a misfire in # 3, and a random misfire, so I ordered plugs and wires, like jay told me to do so long ago. I went to Toyota, and I got my plugs and wires, cheaper than at the oil change place, which was suprising. I asked one of the old farts there at Toyota what they thought about the CEL lights and he said that the MAP circuit light might be due to the misfiring, which I hope so. I just decided to get the regular plugs and wires, for now, just to get the car running fine, and all, then get the colder plugs when I turbo, but now now I just want the car running with no hesitation and CEL.

I said all that to say:
Vortex, I am going to try the plugs and wires out first. Hopefully that irradicates [all] my problems. The dealer told me that the MAP is $100.

yea that's cool...all I need is the pinout on the e-manage side. Did you mount your 3bar in place of your stock MAP sensor?

yeah... but i made a custom plate for where the old MAP was. It bolted over it and had a connection on it to plug in a vacuum line. :)
