    dumb question...

    what is the difference between the 7th gen(93-97) and the 8th gen(98-2000) frame wise. cuz from a glance the front end looks very similar(looking at pics on teh net and compairing them to my car) like the lights and such. im sure they are like completely diff from eachother but if not cant u take a lip kit from a 7th gen and put it on the 8th. im sure im just dumb lol.

    i know its all about the lip kits lol.

    dude, they arent completely different actually. the suspension on the 8th gens will fit the 7th gens. and yes, you can do anything to that car. know a guy who took a 74 corolla and put a rotory engine in it. 4 sec 8th mile. pretty sick

    EXACTLY they are NOT completely different. The chassis from 88-02 have not had many dramatic changes. case in point, suspension and brake components are interchangable, seats are inteterchangable and if the north america spec have not switch to ZZ motors, motors are also interchangable (though still are with custom engine mounts).

    The major change only lie in the outer shell.. i'm pretty sure you can do a entire front end conversion between a 7th and 8th gen.
