the t25 is meant for this general type of engine, originally designed for NA. It should be ok as long as its not boosted too much.

I wonder if you can combine the supercharger and turbo together. It seems like the supercharger works off the intake, while the turbo works by using the car's exhaust. If you combine them, wouldn't that make a tremendous amount of power? If your engine and tranny can handle it.

tom, it would be kinda pointless.

First of all they are both made to force air into your engine.

Second, a super charger dose not work off of your intake, that is imposible. You must have energy to make energy. A super charger is driven by a pully that is connected to your engine, so your engine is powering the super charger, not your intake.

So having two things drawing power from your engine just to force air into it dosnt really make sense. Especially when you can just get one of them that is real efficient and forces lots of air with minimal power drain.

Hmm, I just thought turbo works off the car's exhaust right? Does it recyle it and use it like an intake then (to force more air)? The reason why I thought the supercharger was working off part of the intake is that, on my car, they replaced the entire stock intake manifold with the supercharger. So you can see where the air intake comes in through the pipe, into the throttle body, and goes to the supercharger where it compresses it and does all its good stuff. I thought the crank just helps power the supercharger, that's it. Just like how the exhaust powers the turbo.

only real benefit of doing that would be low end power of the blower, then the turbo would spool really quickly to provide high end intercooled boost...but it wouldnt make any sense to do it unless you run lots of boost...and then still it wouldnt make sense to do it :)

if there was a way to have to seperate ways to get air into the intake mani, then i suppose it could work. like a split port type of thing. but would probably more trouble than would ever be worth.
