    Dr. Tweak's work

In my other thread "Engine Swap" I decided to stay with the 1zz-fe and go turbo. This is the list of upgrades he is working on now and some pics:

Tranny swap from auto to stick (with lightweight flywheel, shortshifter, stage 3 cutchmaster,ECU)
haust system (including boring out the headers, flex coupler)
    racing pedals
    rear brake conversion to disk
    Cold Air Intake
Relocate the Battery to the trunk
    Hyper ground wiring
    Tunning

    Here are the pics.

yea def the 3S-GTE is much better .. higher PSI and can get up to 300HP compared to turbo'ing a 1ZZ-FE with 9PSI and 200HP

well...a 3sgte would be so much better.....but you can still have fun with 1zzfe if you beef up the internals

yes its good but it would cost at least 7K minimun to have it installed the 3sgte is made for a rear wheel drive car. 2 people have done it on a celica and cost them almost 10k you need all custom fab parts to pull it off. ust turbo it what you need to do is order new valve and valve spring, rod and wesco low compression pistons. if you want more power get the crower stage 2 fi cams and you can push at least 16psi. but the question is will the tranny hold up. check out monkey wrench racing for parts and info.

E.L.Prototypes also had a 3sgte powered 1998 corolla too. I used to have pictures of it somewhere... over 500 hp. Very fast, but not practical; it throws of the balance of the car since it wasn't built to handle such a heavy and powerful engine. Pretty much, it was good for straight line runs.

    Job well done

Dr. Tweak just complete the project on my Corolla and I was extremely impressed. I received the car on Friday just before X-Mas all finished. The performance is greatly enhance from before. His work was very professional and he took great care to every detail. In April I'm going to ship it back for the custum turbo kit and a whole new suspension system. This will complete the performance part of my project.
