door panel problems

    door panel problems

    my passenger side door is crumbling into pieces under the leather/vinyl; can anyone tell me how i can fix this or if it could be fixed w/o purchasing a new one ($300) and i can't find any in the junkyard either.

    yeah what is going on, I mean there is kinda of plywood cardboard kind base to which everything is mounted, is that what is falling apart?

    hmmmmm you could take a trip to a junk jard ask them fi they don't have any corolla's with damaged doors so you could pull the inside panel out, you could if you got some time on your hands, goto home depot, buy a sheet of that plywood kind of thing and cut the same sheet as your door and replace it, at the same time you can do some reupholstery work.
