    Door handle question

Hey, on the inside door handles is there any way to take them out? The chrome "finish" on it started to peel off and I want to redo them, but I fear its going to be quite the task if they don't detach.

feel for a screw somewhere within the door handle, unscrew then pull it to the left or right (whichever direction it is for the newer ones)
