    door diagrams

one of my co-workers finally got a car, its a older tercel
it had shit loads of problems, hes gotten almost everything fixed except for the drivers door that wont open. i tried messing around with it today, but i only opened the door once, and i couldnt do it again

is there any diagrams of how the doors operate, so i can kinda look at it and fix the door.

you can request a diagram from the dealer and check to see what the problems are possibly.

"They" is a blanket identification. It all depends on who you talk to. The guy at our local Toyota Dealership answers all kinds of questions for me from PCV valves, coolant changes, and block heaters. He was very helpful and gave me alot of info. I can imagine some other people might not be as nice.

Just tell 'em what your trying to do and ask for their help. All they can say is yes or no.
People can be rude and disconnected on the phone. If you go in person they can't just say "sorry, no" and hang up. They'll see you as a person.

I speak to everyone and no one tells me anything. If anything some of the mechanics will give me thier number so i can call them to do some work on the side instead of doing it at the dealership so it comes in pretty handy.

I have problems with my stupid interior door handles breaking off on the 98 and the 01. Even my friends 01 LE does the same.

I also get clients for them to do some work on the side as well too.

not all the time only when there is very little or no traffic in the street. i do not mess around with the small streets. it sucks on the Honda because the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Torque Distribution Control(TDC),Traction Control(TC) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution System (EBFDS) turn on like crazy and will not allow me to get the car to loose control as hard as i try, i have mastered it about 5 times only. All the lights turn on, on the instrument cluster.Hehe the Rolla is another story i can go and have fun for as long as its raining, hehe.
