Does this car belong to anyone here

Me and Mike (gotarheels) saw this car on the PA Turnpike around 4:30pm coming back from the Corolla Cuztoms meet in Niagra Falls.

Its a 04-04 Corolla S Phantom Gray with tint couldnt tell much more than that. The PA Turnplike speed is fast (80+).

If this is someone from here, I was the gray/silver 02 with Delaware Tag NATHAN and Silver Rims.

[IMAGE REMOVED DUE TO TAG DISPLAY -- VORTEX]

I only managed to get the tag number, doing like 90 and trying to get a pic is hard.

Its bad etiquette to post people's licence plate numbers online... with the description you provided, if that person is on here, they'd know...

In regards to posting tags......what danger does that cause? Do we cover up our plates when we drive out in public?

I think its fine if you post your own car up... but its sort of a respect thing - kinda like a phone number. unless i've posted up my phone number publically and said ' call anytime ' i wouldn't want anyone posting up my phone number going ' here's vortex's digits ' --- so i kinda feel the same way about a license plate... if i post up pictures with my plates showing, who cares if someone else does... *shrug*

There are a lot of bored techies and thieves on the internet, especially on a site where with a concentrated number of modified car owners. People are just covering their bases.

We have Corollas, so I doubt there's much of a threat, but if you have a commonly stolen Honda, I can definitely see why you wouldn't want your tag posted.

i say lets make this board a member only board...

my say on this is, we post pics of what we have in our cars... (mainly ICE)... so if a thief saw my plates on here, he would knw i have ice in the trunk... he can pretty much tell specificaly which corolla on the street he would see that is mine... know whats in it... and pretty much steal whats in it... (im to tired ryt now... sorry if its unclear)

You could lock only the "Style" thread from non-members. Not to say that all pics are posted there, but a majority of them are, limiting the possibility of mischief.

I dont think that makes a difference....its not like you somehow make your windows in your car blacked out so no one can see in, unless you have limo tint. And even then, its a good sign that youre trying to hide something.

We leave our cars parked in parking lots....thats more dangerous than posting up a picture of what you have on the internet. Same with the license plates.
