    does the xrs n the normal corolla got same engine different tuning???

    hey dont laugh at me we dont get the xrs here is the engine same on the xrs n the normal corolla i got a 04 model some 1 told me that the cud get the xrs ecu for me if its the same engine shud i do the ecu swap??

    no sir the XRS has the VVTL-i 2zzge motor (from Celica GTS) and the CE,LE and S models get the 1zzfe which is only VVT-i so completely different motors. Whoever told you that obviously is not to be trusted :)
