does the weather have effect on our performance?

    Hey,

Just wandering if it is extremely cold if that would trigger a CEL on our cars. Reason being in NJ our past winter was horrible and I got the CEL code 420 but since changing the filter and reseting in has not come back on(knock on wood). It came on after driving like 18,000 miles w/ the AEM CAI. Could having the CAI in the winter in below 0 temps cause a CEL to pop on? Or do you think the CEL will pop on at anytime? It has been like over 2000 miles since the last CEL.

I drove through a harsh winter, down to -50* F with my CAI and bypassed TB coolant without any problems, besides a partly ice and snow clogged filter, but without ever setting off any code....
