Does anyone use Tein H-Tech springs?

I was curious to see how well they ride and how well they perform. Now that I have the Hotchkis front sway bar, I can't really have my front end as low as I used to, so I'm thinking for doing only a small drop using lowering springs and to get a smoother ride. I'm curious to see what you H-Tech owners think of your springs.

Friend of mine has H.Techs on his car. I rode in his ride before. The ride is definitely smoother than the S.Techs, I can tell you that much, if not close to the comfort of stock. But it only drops 1 inch, that's a smaller drop than TRDs...

Whenever I lower my front more than an inch, my sway bar bushings hit either raised bumps in the road or scrape on speed bumps. I'm just wondering how well is performs when cornering and such.

I have Hotchkis F & R sways, and H-techs. No problems and the ride is bitchin'! Cornering is great without a back-breaking ride.

Ah, I think I'm sold. I'll get rid of my coilover setup in favor of this.

do you have any pics of your ride?

oh and vamp...was the ride not that great because you had the gc coilovers AND the sways or mainly because of the coilovers?

The ride is alright on GCs, but if I'm not planning on doing more than an inch drop, I'd like to get some comfort back in the ride again. My main issue is that I keep bottoming out the sways even when driving really slow. Now I just need to find someone to buy my GCs that will give up the bottom rubber perch mount and boot in the deal.

I'd consider picking them up from you, but then I'd be stuck in the same situation you are in...

Do you know if they're working on sway bar clearance issues, or are we stuck with what's out now? I have a 1.8" drop now, and my front end is still a little higher than I'd like..the back is perfect, though.

Nope, we're stuck with what we got. If someone can hook me up with with the bottom rubber perch mount and the boots/bumpstops, I'll sell the GCs once I get the new springs in.

Ah..lol -- we didn't notice those when we were lowering my car..it had stuck to the stock strut..we had the other one put back together before we noticed it on the other ones..fortunately, that happened to be the same strut that started to leak after a while, so we put it back in :p

Vamp -- Jony (toyhookup@yahoo.com) said he can get the OEM rubber insulators for 18 bucks apiece..or he said buy them from the dealer to save time..

I can't believe that that little piece of rubber is $18..

Yeah, I know. $18 x 4 + 12 X 4 for boots adds up. Ug. Anyway, I just found TRD springs for $150+$10 shipping on eBay.
