No sub will not work well in sealed box, it can even damamge the sub. That sub was not designed for sealed box. It is designed for ported box, 1.5 cu-3.5cu ft. I seen it in action in a 3cu ft ported box with only 700wRMS and it hits really hard. Bass is not really that clean but very loud.

That exact sub that you showed me can not be wired as a 2ohm load unless you have two of them. It is a 2ohm DVC and can be used as 4ohm or 1ohm only.

That amp that you said you have, is it really 1800wRMS or 1800wPeak? If it is really 1800wRMS at 1ohm, check what it is at 4ohm. If the 4ohm power is too low for your sub and you have to use it at 1ohm, be very carefull when setting the gain. I would turn it up no more than 1/2 the way or you will blow your sub. or try to get another amp.

hope that answer all of your question and good luck with your setup

It'll work just fine in a sealed enclosure, but you will lose probably 4 or 5 dB SPL by using a sealed enclosure. This sub is a high excursion design (meaning it is designed to move in and out a long way). When you put it in a sealed enclosure, the air inside the box acts as a spring that will reduce how far the cone will travel.

Why do you want a sealed enclosure? Space constraints? Sound quality? If you want loudness over quality, ported is the way to go. If you really want a selaed enclosure, don't waste your money on a high excursion design.

i like loud but accurate bass, can high excursion subs play clean bass even in a sealed box, and if not how about a ported box?

    Apparently the amp ratings are

    600 W into 4 ohms
    1200 W into 2 ohms
    1800 W into 1 ohm

Trouble is they don't tell you if that's peak or RMS. That's important to know.

Sure, why not. Just make sure you wire the voice coils in series. If those amp power ratings are RMS, then wiring the coils in parallel would not be wise...
