DIY on yellow part of tail light?

DIY on yellow part of tail light?

i wanted to ask how to red-out the yellow part on a stock taillight...am i sposed to paint it...like take off the cover or somethin?...can someone pleaze tell me cuz i dont have a clue wat to do

You can paint the outside of it. Painting the inside wont really get you anywhere.

Or you can get a sheet of red transparent vinyl and stick that on the outside. Thats the more popular apreach since you can always take it off later, and its more durable than paint on a smooth surface.

i put red vinyl on mine, had it shaped and cutted. then just put it on like a sticker....looks nice but if your close up on the car, you can tell it was a bootleg. but hey it works
