DIY: How To Replace Your Front Engine Mount (98-02)

    Need:

    (2) 17 MM Wrenches
    (1) 10 MM Wrench
    (1) 14 MM Wrench
    (1) Front Engine Mount (Toyota #12361-0D011)

    Instructions:
    1) Take off the left and right engine under covers with your 10 MM wrench so you can see the front mount.

    2) Take off the long bolt that goes through the mount with two 17 MM wrenches. One on the bolt and one on the nut.

    3) Take off the two bolts circled in red with your 14MM wrench.

    4) Wriggle your old front mount off and put the new mount in through the top of the engine. Reinstall.

As you can see the old mount had cracks in the rubber. The new front mount removed some clunking noises when I shift hard.
