Engine DIY Auto Repair Shop?

    DIY Auto Repair Shop?

    I have a cousin in the Army, and one of his benefits is that he gets access to a garage with lifts and tools that he can rent. They can rent the tools for free, and pay like $3/hr for the lift.
    My question is, has anyone heard of places like this that are available to the public? I seem to recall shops where you pay some amount per hour and get access to their specialty tools and can ask a mechanic type person who knows what they're doing for help if you need it.
    Has anyone seen a place like this?
