Engine disabling the speed limiter?

    I'm pretty sure it's just a wire. Typically from what i've seen it's a wire that goes from your ECU to your transmission. You won't gain any HP. And I think another way of disabling it if you disable it from your ECU. Don't know how that's done though.

    Ok, what year corolla do you have? Taking off your govener is pointless. A corolla is not built for speed or top end. I will say that my corolla tops out at 115. It can't go much faster than that. I dont have a tach, but my engine was scream when i was going that fast. And it still took about 30 secs to go from 100 to 115.

    disabling the speed limiter?

    how do i disable it? i heard you gotta cut off some wire or something? is that right? if so, what kind of wire and wheres it located? and if its been cut off, will i gain more hp? and please tell me the correct wire to cut, i dont wanna must up and end up cutting some other wire.

    That's because you don't have much HP. Add some couple of mods and you'll get there quicker.

    there is alot more than hp that has to do with doing 100+ mph, for instance, your tires, if you have crappy tires, ones that aren't rated for speed, then you might regret it later, after you hit 100+ and your tires can't hold up

    True. As well as aerodynamics. You wouldn't want your car flipping into the air like the Mercedes did in Le Mans.

    I go that fast but not in my Corolla though shit lol....once I hit the high way I don't back down from 100 lol

    ok, if yall dont like this mod, thats ok. cuz i didnt ask yall if yall like it or not lol. i just wanna know how to disable it thats all. if the mod is too hard too do. then i wont do it, if its really that hard to do, fuck it.
