Disable DRL...3rd way of doing it?

Instead of rewiring the DRL console or using the brake relay, can't the DRL be disabled by simply killing or removing the fuse to the DRL console. I believe its fuse #27 under the driver's dash board. I haven't it done it but if anyone has or knows about it, please share!

somone also said over on MO, that simply pulling the leads off (easily reversable) the sensor knocked it out.

havn't tried it though, i kind of like the auto lights feature.

hey i tried pulling the e-brake up one notch and it works, i'm just wondering if at one notch the pad or whatever in the drum is actually touching the drum, cuz i don't want to slowly wear away my rear brakes just to keep my lights off... anybody know???

the easiest way is to look under the dash, look for the drl unit, cut the yellow wire and gound it. disable the drl and autolight feature. if u want u can put a switch on it and restore it to factory settings.
