Damn cat sitting on my car...

Since getting my car repaired from a hit and run, I've been parking it off street, behind my house. The other day I noticed mysterious mud spots on the roof. Tonight, I went out and saw a damn cat sitting on the roof. I noticed little scratches, which I'm pretty sure came from the cat's claws. If I find out who owns this cat, they will pay to get my car repainted (again), since they are too irresponsible to keep the stupid cat in the house. Keeping this car nice is turning out to be a nightmare for me. Anybody know of anything that might keep this cat off? I know they are territorial and constantly go back to their favorite spots.

I thought about doing the same thing with a neighbor cat. I got my BB gun out and had it ready and was waiting on the lawn looking at my car waiting for the f**ken cat to sit on my car. Then I realized if it did come around, I would probably end up shooting my car and cause more damage than the cat would have. So I just dealt with it by making my neighbors life hell. He has since moved! :D

yea dont go shootin at any cats.. that cruel to animals.. heh .. anyways glad you got ur problem fixed. A car cover would work but its a hassle to put on and take off. They also sell some kind of scent sprays that are suppose to keep dogs and cats away .. maybe you can spray that around your car or osmething.. I wouldnt recommend spraying it on the car as it might damage your paint and it might make it smell too .I dunno.. well anyways good luck

get that spray that u use around the house so animals wont urinate there but spray it on a towel or somthing and put it on top of ur car. that should do the trick

im right there with you in the off-the-damn-cat camp.

first words that came to my mind: pnumatic potato cannon. take that fucker right off the car from about 10 yards out.

just dont get caught, there are states that will put you in jail for someting like that. in some cases faster than if you kill a person.

just leave a bowl of antifreeze lying outside. The cats will look like the dog that's plastered to the pavement in the lastest sierra mist commercial

Well, I figured I would try pissing around the area where I park. If that doesn't work, I'll try spreading moth balls. My luck I'd hit my car trying to shoot at it.

just wait and if you see the cat scare it off. after like 2-3 times it wont sleep on your car anymore. It's worked for me. My neighbors cat doesnt go on all my cars anymore. I let it sleep on my accord because well my hoods already jacked up and it can't do anymore harm. But it knows not to sleep on any of my other cars or my families cars.

Heard the skull crack?! LOL!! "Lost Cat" Yeah, that cat's lost alright...
As I drove in a parking lot once, 2 cats were in a violent fight and I ended up driving over a cat's head with my front right tire, but it didn't crack. Cat ran off in much haste...so the other one won the fight. :?
Try catching the cat in a cage... You could get a good buck for it from your local Chinese food joint.

I was driving down the street one night and saw this cat jump infront of my car and I accidentally Ran over it's Paws or Legs im guessing...IT WAS the MOST DISTURBING FEELING as I could feel the Bones CRACK! from the virbration of the steering wheel and noise combined!. I stopped, looked back at my rear view mirror and saw that cat Dash back onto the grass and vanished!.....I will never forget the Feeling of it's Bones Breaking....*shudders* :? hope it's ok =(
