    D.I.Y update-Lower grill mesh

I discovered another way to use gutter guard on the lower grill mesh without using wire to attach it to the columns. I used staples to attach it to the foam underside. It makes obviousness of the mod less visable.

i just got some wire from a craft store that was almost exactly the same color and my car and it worked out perfectly. but the staple idea could work to but how did you attach the bottom part of it since there isn't any foam towards the bottom to staple into.

i just used black quick ties on most of it and i was thinkin about using little dabs of super glue to hold the ends but i haven't gotten any yet, but the staple idea's great. i never even thought about that :D

You could also make a frame that fits right in the opening to attach the grill. I dont have pics available but thats how we did mine. We put together peices of aluminum to bolt it in the opening. There are bolt holes at the top so It can be aligned right in there. You just have to drill 2 bolt holes for the bottom of the frame.

There are two plastic pieces at the bottom of the lower grill. I just slid the bottom in to those.

We use black silicone to install mesh to body parts.
