    Custom Mid-Pipe Done!

My custom mid pipe (after the down pipe but before the catback exhaust) is now DONE! I have modified it to take an aftermarket wideband O2 (no more bolt on flange) and added and additional port for an EGT sensor. I also heat wrapped the whole thing! I can't wait to see how well it works.

    Pictures of the projects

    Heat Shielding off factory pipe

Cut off the flange and grinded it down

    Hammed in bung

Welded in bung and grided to find holes/leaks

DId it again down stream for a EGT sensor

Test fitted the O2 to make sure i didn't own the threads welding

Sand O2 bungs and apply heat wrap

Looks like I'm getting back in to the full swing of things.

    excellent craftsmanship :D

after I'm done fixing the whole car, (was a bit more fucked up than what I thought so) I'll be going a small turbo, straight to the liver blown 1zz-fe

no IC, why? I live in the damned tropics, wouldn't do anything at all unless it's at night...
and plus.... it's gonna be with a GT2860RS or something of that size so, even less lag

ah.... 2 years from now/.... all I have to fix now are the brake system probably buy Dr.Tweaks rear disc convertion.... and fix the leaks here and there in the engine and then I'd be good for blown goodness :D

Sorry I broke all the picture links, I'll fix them tomorrow if I remember :) Also the downpipe is now on the car and it is running. I posted a video for your enjoyment.

I love my new Canon SD950, it fits in my pocket with my cell phone and has 16gb of ram so I take videos, pictures, etc constantly and upload them for forums and stuff. Sure makes life easy! I think I might write a little program that will automatically upload the camera when I plug it in to photobucket just to cut out the middle man :)
