    Cusco Strut Bar

Does anyone have a Cusco Strut Bar on their car? I'm looking for a strut bar and there seems to be a limited choice of manufacturers.

check your local toyota dealership, if they dont have it they know where to get it. unless you try to find a short shifter, they dont know where to get them form =[ which is why we have nice people like DOT.

I had a Cusco one on my car.. however I found it flexed too much for my liking since it was a hollow-type bar.

You can buy them from Andy's Auto Sport, theres a few different types to choose from.

TRD Canada is a joke. That web-site is so old and out of date.

Most parts you see there are discontinued now.

What advantages would the 3pt. Cusco bar have over the TRD one to warrant an upgrade?

well to me strut bars help a lot. when you have an oversize rear sway bar, you feel the difference of having a strut bar

I do have a oversize rear sway bar, coilovers/dampeners, and poly bushings all around and I can honestly say I can't feel a large difference with my strut bar installed or uninstalled. Strut bar don't do anything mechanically, it is only a chassis brace.

The tom's strut bar is discontinued, you could still probably buy it second hand in japan. There were one on ebay a few months back, sold for ~120 i believe. I'd never pay that much for a strut bar.

I have yet to find that style of strut bar over here, one of these days i will go to the local dealer and pickup a catalogue from TRD and see what they have to offer.

If there are at least 10 people, I can setup a group buy for the Cusco 3pt Strut bar. Anyone willing to buy it?

    http://www.cuscoracing.com/p8.pdf
Its the "Type OS FRONT TRIANGLE TYPE" but for an AE110/AE111, I can't guarantee it'll fit the USDM corolla.

I can't find pictures of it on the net but if you look at the link that i have, it will look similar to it. I am going to order it as soon as I have money so I can tell you how the fitting goes.

cgreen38, shipping shouldn't cost too much for it, maybe at most $30 but I am not quite sure.

DOT., you live in Chatsworth so you can pick it up or I can deliver it.
