Engine Crunch the nums on cais

    Crunch the num's on cai's

    Alright guys im wanting to get an intake but i want to know which intake is gonna produce the most power. Give me some num's on the AEM,TRD, Injen, and any other that you guys know of. It would be greatly appreciated

    all of the CAI are pretty much the same in power gains. CAI will have a larger gain over the "short ram air" because it's pulling in denser air.

    I had the Injen CAI and I could feel a increase throughout the rpm range. I was extremely happy with it, however, if you decided to have the S/C installed, the Injen CAI will no longer fit.

    i like hte sound of my CAI..but i never heard a short ram tho =X

    i love the sound and gain from my AEM intake. They put the numbers on their website which other places didn't. That's why i went with the AEM and have been very happy with it.

    yea definately love the sound of the short ram over the CAI. combine the short ram with the magnaflow exhaust and you got a sweet soundin car.. trust me :D

    finally, there is someone besides me that went with short ram. It is just better in my opinion. I like to wrap the tube with insulated material to keep the pipe from heating up.

    i live in ohio so i dont have to worry bout anything getting to hot... oh and i dont really have a short ram... i kinda made it out of my ingen CAI for the winter but i liked it so much that im gonna keep it.
