    Yeah, I've seen this a few years ago too. Sure its nifty but how does it compare to a performance tire. I saw the Audi on them doing autocross on those and it looks like its keeping up but how would you replace the rubber when its run down?

    I'm sure it would be cheaper if you could replace the rubber...but if you had the replace the entire thing, that would just be a little too impractical. And I dunno but I don't think i'm ready to give up my sidewalls yet, lol. I kinda like the way my rims n tires look now. Those just look weird...I would even go as far as saying, I would sport OEM steelies before those just cuz of the simple fact that they look funny..

    Yeah, I agree. The sidewalls on that thing are really thick.
