    Cosmo racing intake.

I just bought a cosmo racing intake for my 01 Corolla, I installed it and the only way I could make it fit was by pointing to the back like the injen intakes. But when doing that the Maf sensor was upside down. I started the car and it had a very ruff idle and would die if I didn’t give it gas. Also the smell of gas was very strong.

Any idea if the maf censor can be upside down or not?
Also what caused the strong gas smell, did that have something to do with the maf sensor?
could the pipe be to short?

any way i put in the old intake and it was back to normal.

it doesnt matter if the maf is upside down or not. it more matters if the maf sensor is facing the flow of air traffic in the intake. i had a bomz intake. returned that shit day after i installed it.

Yeah thats the same one, but mine doesnt sit in that way. And yes underneath you cant see the connection for it but the other part is there.<br />
