    I think it's a fear of losing the identity of being a "Corolla" community perhaps. I guess the fear is that it will just become another one of those generic Toyota forums.

    why shut it down? limit it to like all generation corolla, camry (common cars) so more will join. make the forum as a whole dont' divid by each type of cars, then you'll have an unstable traffic among other car enthusias.

    just redirect corolla-racing.com to trdforums and call it a day. that way anyone searching for a corolla board will be brought here.

    there is no need to thin out the community with multiple boards on the same subject.
