Engine Corolla Gas Mileage

    Corolla Gas Mileage

    I drove 320 miles one way with my 01 Corolla S 5 spd driving an average of 85 and i checked my gas mileage and i got 390 miles on a tank with 70 miles of city driving with 2 1/4" piping. The Corolla's don't have all the power but with gas prices i like the mileage. I'm startin to like my car more and more./

    12 gallon tank? thats about 32.5 a gallon.

    My 99 Corolla with the automatic tranny is a gas guzzler.I guess you get better gas mileage with the vvti engine right?

    i really don't know how many mpg i get. But every week i spend 20$ on gas and it's good enough to last me the week.

    I get 150-175 KM to a quarter tank of gas between a mix of highway and city driving.

    It's a 98 LE.

    I think "quater tank" "half tank" doesn't mean anything if we're not driving the same car, LOL. How big is your tank? :p

    Im getting around 25 on my auto rolla.....probably cause my driving is not flat and freeway at high speed w/incline sucks.....could replacing the plugs with the NGK dualsomething plugs help??Ill go start a gas mileage thread.....
