    Corolla Exhaust

    hi there. thanks for reading. i have a 2003 corolla. i am looking into the idea of putting a new exhaust set up on it....BUT i am looking for something that is quiet. i don't want one of those 8inch pipes out the back.(up white...not asian!) if anyone has put aftermarket exhaust on the car, and/or knows of a quiet setup to get....drop me a note.

    TRD's exhaust is evidently the least audible of those available for the 03+ Corolla. Wrong forum, by the way.

    Ya the TRD is pretty quiet. It just gives the car a nice little sound.

    the quietest ones from what i've been reading are borla trd and magnaflow. if ure juss looking for exhaust w/ bit of gain, borla and trd is way to go cujz it's axle-back. but if ure looking for bit more performance gain, magnaflow cuz its a full cat-back

    Just like CorollaAltis said, Magnaflow is more worth investing because it is a true cat back exhaust, which provides better gains for your money. In terms of sounds/noise level, the trd and borla are quieter. Magnaflow will give you a low deep throaty sound during idle. It gets slightly louder when reaching higher rpms. It is not loud enough to persuade cops to give you tickets or anything. But it's noticeable and nothing like a fart can.

    Good luck. I believe Magnaflow exhaust price went up around 80$ recently. Nonetheless, it is still the best among it's competitors, imo. I'm very satisfied with it.

    but the magnaflow, u need to cut ure stock exhaust piping
