Corolla 2003 intake fit in 2000 VVTI Engine?

Quick question. I have a Corolla 2000, its running under a VVT-I engine, I've been looking for an Intake, something nice off of ebay...would a 2003 vvt-i corolla intake fit in mine which includes the MAF sensor?

2003 intake is the same as the 2000+ celica plastic intakes...

and yes it will fit in there.. a little tough.. and youll have to remove the radiator hose and put it back on but it will fit

are you talking about a CAI, cuz I would assume that won't fit the same, since the body style is completely different. I know my CAI for my 03 is much different from the CAI I had on my 99. A SRI should be fine though.

I don't think the CAI would fit either...i was hopping someone with experience would b able ta check that...but im going to go with the short ram...the CAI is to risky and I dont really see much of a power difference but correct me if im wrong...

im not an expert with 98 and up engine bays, but i dont believe that intake will fit on 00-02 b/c of the looks of it...it looks like the filter will run into the fuse boxes...i know that 03 has a lot more room to play with w/o bumping into the boxes...

well, didn't fit. The battery is in the way, as well as the side of the frame. No way I'm cuttin a hole in the side of the car. In addition, the angle of the throttle body is different, so, it would sit lower in the car than an 03.

yeah, that looks like the correct shape for a RAI like the injen one for 01-02 models. CAI wise I'm not sure you could find any that works well, the best shaped one I've seen is designed for a scion xB... curves around then back up front and drops downward.
