Engine Coolant additives and the 1ZZ-FE

    Coolant additives and the 1ZZ-FE

    Will cooler coolant via an additive improve 1ZZ-FE performance?

    My guess is, for the most part the answer is no. I bet the engineers for Toyota's engine development spent plenty of time on finding the most efficient coolant temp.
    But I go to the auto store and see these products that say they will help. I am conflicted. What is your 1ZZ-FE experience?

    a lot of the additives at the auto part store are nothing more than snake oil.
