i doubt 2zz-ge rods will fit becasue of the g head. just get monkeywrench racing rods they even have a bore kit that will make your corolla 1.9L

    connecting rods

Once I finally have money again i plan on fixin up my car the question is I dont want to turbo it cuz if i want a car to go real fast then I will just buy a new one but i am thinking of adding nitrous to it. I want to beef up the internals though so i dont toss a rod. I am cheap so i was thinkin celica rods r stronger than corolla rods could i just install those instead of buying crower rods that cost almost 900$

Do Celica rods even fit? If so, I was not aware of it.

Ppl over 9thgen said the celica GT rods are weaker than the rolla's since they're ligther.
But I don't believe it until I see it.

Either way, the 1ZZFE rods are significantly thinner and weaker than the 2ZZGE. I don't remember if anyone has seen the comparison pics but there was a huge difference. I actually wouldn't get either. Go Crower!
