Finally have become the new postwhore...

i get bored when i'm home...what can i say? lol

not even trying to compete anymore...i'm just a very bored woman.

he's working. he doesn't do your typical 9-5 m-f job.

what does he do if u dont mind me asking

he's a theater rigger...he travels across the country helping to build theaters.

essentially...all the stuff that's hung backstage or in the catwalk in front of the stage is hung by people like him.

he welds, as well...and when he's NOT on big jobs out of state, he's usually working doing smaller stuff closer to home. he spent a month and a half in PA building a stage north of Philly, and now he's working on building the set for a show down near DC. usually the big stuff lasts a month or so. i expect the next big job(out of state) will be in April or so.

he works a total of half the year and makes more than your average student fresh out of college...and because he's essentially a freelancer, he gets tons back in taxes.

wow thats really cool...

eh...yes and no. every day he goes in, he could go to the hospital. if, for some reason, his harness isn't secured right and he drops on concrete, he could die. it's not as great as it sounds. the only reason why i don't freak out is he enjoys it. if he didn't, i'd have coerced him to find something else awhile ago.
