Cold Air Intake vs. Short Ram Intake

:?: Cold Air Intake or Short Ram Intake. I have a 2003 Corolla auto. I dont know which one would be better for my car. Which one would give me better power for an auto tranny? Any suggestions?? :?:

Honestly, neither one is going to add THAT much power. For what it's worth, I went with the SRI because there's no worry of hydrolock, and there's no need to dent the filter (TRD CAI on the S), and the filter is much easier to get to as far as cleaning and what not.

with the short ram you will feel it more in the lower end, the CAI in the higher end (because of the longer tubing) The CAI will give you more overall HP, but I went with the short ram because I want my gain in the low to mid RPM range, plus it sounds way better.

    VVT-i = low end power
SRI = additional power to the engine @ low rpm
thats why i chose short ram too lol
