Bilstein is good, Tokico's seem to blow out easy, and KYBs seem to be reliable. If you can afford them, get Konis.

Tokico's blow out easily? Don't they have a lifetime warranty though?

:p Well, my front Tokico was blown out and the rears were dead, and they were only a year old.

KYB = biggest bang for the buck.. if it's just around town, you won't notice the difference between Tokico and KYB..

kyb makes a lot of factory parts for manufacturers so they must be doing something right. for example subaru uses KYB to make their ''performance'' struts they sell out of their catalog

could any of you guys tell me if these would be the correct front and rear struts for me 00 Prizm, and would these be a good strut? I have 94k miles on the stock struts and they're getting pretty soft. I'll also be getting a new set of tires when I get struts. I use 195/60/14 Cooper Cobras and they're pretty nice for all around

So how do Bilsteins rate vs. Tokico as far as stiffness? They're cheaper than tokicos, so I might pick up a pair.

not too many people run the Bilsteins, but Ive heard only good things about them. I had KYB's and liked them, but was only lowered for ~8 months so I can't comment on longevity.

I had Adj. Tokicos on my Mustang and they were beautiful. But after doing research I think I'm going with some KYB's on my rolla...peace
