    Hi Guys

I was wondering, where can I buy great break pads like GREENSTUFF or AXXIS for cheap price? I know tiretrack sell GREENSTUFF for $69 but I live in CANADA, Onatrio and our currency is bad right now plus there is taxes and S&H. So anyone knows website or place please let me know.

I am also intreseted in used one as well.

    Thanks. Paul

Canadian Tire has the Monroe premium quality brake pads on sale at 25% off this week till Friday. I just got my set for $47.43 (Cdn $) tax included. Free 3 year wear-out replacement if self-installed...

I really dont reccomend ebc greenstuff pads i have them on my car right now and sure the stopping powers great and theres virtually no break dust BUT they are an extremely hard pad so they screech a lot. just crusing to a stop the'll give off an annoying screech and ive been trying for monthes to fix the problem

I second that. they squeal alot. I thought I may have installed it wrong or got grease or oil on the pads during the installation. But it seems to be a common problem with no solution.
But I live on the top of a mountain, so I need the extra breaking power.
I would not go as so far to say the EBC Greenstuff will make a extreme difference, but it does make a noticable difference. btw, I also have the powerslot rotors.

Thanks for the all the information.

    I have two more questions.

How is the Canadian tire break pads, are they any good compare to our OEM break pads?

I heard cross-drilled and/or slotted rotor extends pads life, is this true?

I haven't installed CT's Monroe pads yet but they should be at least as good as the OEM's. They're still on special till next Friday...
Slotting or drilling would provide better cooling, performance and longevity. Some have had cracking problems with drilling though.

So I am wondering which rotor company makes good rotor? I know Brembo make a good rotor but they are expensive.
