Cheap Mod

I want to be cheap with this mod. I want to get some M3 mirrors, but not right now. I have a CE with a lunar mist exterior. I hate the black mirrors and want to know a way to paint them to match the exterior color. Can I get touch up paint from Toyota that is cheap and just paint over them?

Just find a shop who will paint it at a minimal price, cuz shops know the proper preparation of painting the mirrors.

Well the cheapest thing you can do is put them up with crazy glue and paint them with nail polish, that may run you a little under $5.

No...seriously try going to a shop where they get your paint code and have experience on what they're doing. If you go to different places I'm sure you'll find a good price and you get to have a warranty for the job.

okay thanks. i just don't want to spend alot on them; if i can get them painted for less than half of the cost of M3 style ones, I will consider it.

itll probably cheaper (or around same price) for the m3 mirrors unpainted than painting your stock mirrors. i personally like my black side mirrors on my ce

You can get the carbon fiber M3 mirors or the chrome M3 mirors, no painting required.

i like how they may look, but i was looking to have the mirrors and that black plastic piece that they connect to the same color as my car (lunar mist).
