    charcoal canister.

How many people have had to replace this? I have to and there are alot of others on other sites. check out the link below and file a complante. Ive been told by many mechanics that this part should not have to be replace EVER unless damaged, the part itself shouldnt fail.

im assuming activated carbon (charcoal)...b/c of its porous nature, it absorbs all the odors of the gasoline-thats my understanding of it-i think its supposed to help with emissions maybe?
