    Cerwin Vega Speakers?

    Hi,

    Has any of u heard of Cerwin Vega, I came across a good deal and was thinking of purchasing these.

    Cerwin Vega V-Mag 6502 6 1/2" 2 Way Component Speaker Set.
    Description: 6 1/2" 2-way system
    Frequency Response: 30 Hz - 22 kHz;
    Power Handling: 50 watts
    Power Handling Maximum: 100 watts
    Sensitivity: (1w/1m:( 90 dB
    Impedance: 4 ohms nominal dB/oct.

    Cerwin Vega HED1693 6x9" 3 Way Speakers.
    sensitivity 90 dB
    frequency response 55-22,000 Hz
    recommended power range 2-60 watts RMS
    peak power handling 120 watts

    Any help or suggestions would be great

    I don't know much Cerwin Vega but one of my friend got a 12" and it sounds great !!!

    ditto. i heard it at fry's and it does sound great. it looks antique cuz of the design, but hits hard. oh and i mean the Cerwin Vega Vega subs w/ orange surrounds

    CV makes really good DJ speakers. umm u can try it. and tell us how it is

    if you came across a good deal then go for them.... no reason why not? they do make awesome subs, and i have heard there components are pretty clean. Not sure about their 6x9's, but what the heck go for it

    Yes, I had ordered the speakers right after making this post, for some reason they were selling today, luckily they still had two sets left of each speaker. My total price came out to 180 shipped!!!!

    Thanks for all the replies, ill let u guys know how they sound, sadly I wont have an amp installed yet. Hopefully 50x4 is good enough :lol:

    they are very good speakers... i have the stealth series... and they sound great... but i changed it to infinity.. they sound much cleaner...

    but overall... CV are good speakers... much better then sony and pioneer....

    Yes I like the speakers alot, I was impressed, I thought they would be crappy since the price was so cheap, The highs are great ( not as awesome as infiniti tho) and the bass is great. I wonder how theyre going to sound with an amp installed.
